Colored Pencil: Ordering Process
Step One
Review my pricing and size guide and select a bracket that fits your want and your budget. These prices are estimates only as the level of detail/difficulty of each animal varies. I work hard to ensure my pricing fairly reflects the amount of time and effort that is required for each piece.
Step Two
Find 5-10 images of your pet(s) for me to review so that I can advise you on the ones that I think will work the best. The better quality the photo, the better the portrait will be, so this treasure trove dive is worth the effort!
I don’t offer full background but if, for example, your pet is sat on a cushion or your horse is leaning over a fence, I do offer the inclusion of those elements.
Step Three
Send me an email or use the "Get a Quote" form below:
Tell me about your pet, I love getting to know them before I start creating their portrait!
Let me know what your budget is in relation to the price guide.
Email me your 5-10 reference photos to rosiesaundersfineart@gmail.com.
Step Four
Once we have agreed on the reference photo, I will finalise my price quote including shipping and applicable taxes, and an estimated completion date. A deposit of 50% is due before commencement of your piece, and the remaining 50% will be payable on completion.
Step Five
Your artwork begins its life! I will start work on the piece. I upload progress photos of my commissions on my social media pages, and also email updates so that customers have the chance to provide feedback and watch the portrait come to life. If it is a surprise gift for someone please let me know before I start work and I will ensure that no photos are posted until I have your go ahead.
Step Six
On completion I will email you the image for checking and approval. Any amendments need to be requested before your piece is shipped, otherwise you will be responsible for any further return shipping costs and re-shipping.
Step Seven
Your artwork will be mounted and gift-wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon. It will be packaged in a padded envelope or box and will be recorded as a fragile item.
Step Eight
Send me photos of your artwork in its new home! I love to see them in their natural habitat and will repost them on my page for others to enjoy!
